\u00bfRecuerda haber escuchado que el Centro de Servicio de Clackamas (CSC) sufri\u00f3 un incendio en 2017? Este evento devastador se ha convertido en algo positivo para el Centro y nuestra comunidad. Como partidarios desde hace mucho tiempo del buen trabajo que hace CSC para el condado de Clackamas, quer\u00edamos ayudar. Este verano, antes de su apertura, los voluntarios de Clackamas Federal Credit Union se arremangaron y pasaron dos d\u00edas haciendo el trabajo sucio para ayudar a preparar a CSC para su gran reapertura. \u00a1Los voluntarios limpiaron los art\u00edculos que hab\u00edan estado almacenados, limpiaron y prepararon la cocina y ayudaron a organizar los refrigeradores, la nueva \u00e1rea de mercado estilo comercial y m\u00e1s!<\/p>\n

Este a\u00f1o, Clackamas tambi\u00e9n don\u00f3 $10,000 para ayudar a CSC a continuar ofreciendo servicios que salvan vidas a los miembros desatendidos de nuestra comunidad. Debra Mason, Directora Ejecutiva de CSC, se\u00f1al\u00f3 lo imperativa que es esta ayuda: \u201cEsta donaci\u00f3n ayuda a reabrir nuestros servicios m\u00e1s importantes, espec\u00edficamente nuestro mercado de compras y comidas calientes. Cuando nuestra comunidad accede a nuestros servicios de alivio del hambre, podemos brindarles mucho m\u00e1s: ropa, duchas, servicios m\u00e9dicos y dentales, por nombrar algunos. Sin la generosidad de Clackamas, estos servicios no ser\u00edan posibles\u201d. Cerca de 600 hogares reciben ayuda del nuevo mercado de estilo de compras de CSC, que permite a quienes lo necesitan elegir los alimentos que desean obtener, sin l\u00edmites.<\/p>\n

A medida que bajan las temperaturas, los servicios de CSC, como comidas calientes, ropa y duchas calientes, se vuelven a\u00fan m\u00e1s necesarios. \u00bfQuieres ayudar? Las donaciones como abrigos de invierno, calcetines, mantas, mitones\/guantes y sombreros siempre se necesitan y son bienvenidas en esta \u00e9poca del a\u00f1o. Otra manera f\u00e1cil de ayudar es donando sus bolsas de papel y pl\u00e1stico. Estas bolsas ayudan a mantener limpios y secos los productos que los clientes recogen en CSC durante estos meses h\u00famedos.<\/p>\n

Parte de nuestra asociaci\u00f3n con CSC incluye barriles de donaci\u00f3n en nuestras sucursales de Oregon City, McLoughlin y Happy Valley.
