El Premio Dora Maxwell reconoce los programas de alcance comunitario de las cooperativas de ahorro y cr\u00e9dito.<\/p>\n<p>Entendimos el impacto que la pandemia estaba teniendo en las comunidades a las que servimos, por lo que en apoyo de quienes experimentan inseguridad alimentaria y de vivienda, donamos m\u00e1s de $69,000 para organizaciones sin fines de lucro para brindar ayuda a las personas necesitadas. Adem\u00e1s, nuestro personal se ofreci\u00f3 como voluntario durante casi 500 horas, trabajando para organizar y entregar cajas de alimentos en el hogar a personas con alto riesgo de COVID.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cClackamas reconoce el valor del servicio y trabajan para mejorar la vida de sus miembros y de las personas en las comunidades a las que sirven\u201d, dijo Christine Ruzzi, vicepresidenta adjunta de recursos de compromiso empresarial de NWCUA. \u201cLos felicitamos por estos prestigiosos premios\u201d. En Clackamas, continuamos con esta tradici\u00f3n a trav\u00e9s de nuestros programas de Educaci\u00f3n Financiera para J\u00f3venes y Adultos. Reconocimos una necesidad masiva de estos programas ya que la pandemia continu\u00f3 poniendo a nuestros miembros y ciudadanos de la comunidad en una necesidad extrema de servicios financieros. Duplicamos la cantidad de talleres de educaci\u00f3n financiera ofrecidos a los miembros y desarrollamos nuevos talleres para abordar las necesidades de los miembros que recientemente estaban desempleados o subempleados. A trav\u00e9s de una variedad de asociaciones con organizaciones sin fines de lucro, grabamos los talleres para compartirlos con los miembros de la comunidad a los que sirven esas organizaciones.
