Card Security Notice

An Important Notice from Clackamas

Clackamas Federal Credit Union has been informed that some Visa debit and/or Visa credit cards may have been compromised in a local merchant breach. Steps are being taken to protect our members by blocking and reissuing cards. Please note we will not be able to reissue cards in our branches. Impacted members have been notified via text message and/or email.

We want to emphasize that Clackamas’ data systems have not been breached, and no one has gained electronic access to credit union information. Security of our members’ sensitive financial data is of utmost importance. Please be assured that the FALCON fraud detection program is monitoring Visa card activity.

You can get a free copy of your credit report once every 12 months from each of the three top credit reporting agencies. To obtain your annual free credit report, please visit annualcreditreport.com or call (877) 322-8228. We encourage our members to monitor their credit reports from the major credit reporting agencies to determine whether someone is fraudulently using information to apply for credit.

Freezing your credit is now a free service provided by the three major credit bureaus. Go to each of the credit bureau websites linked below and locate the security freeze information:

We suggest that all members review their accounts regularly and notify us of any unusual activity. Online and Mobile Banking allow you to quickly and easily look at your accounts.
