What is your favorite part of working with local, small businesses?

“Community! Not only do I get to meet interesting business owners every day, I am proud that we are helping our community thrive by providing banking tools that businesses can use. I love driving through my town knowing that we are actively working with many of the local businesses.”

All decisions are made internally, and your calls will be answered by a real person who wants to help! We are here to support you, in the good times and bad! I will never forget how Embold jumped in to help with PPP loans as many businesses were being turned away from other institutions; we had no hesitation to provide assistance to as many people as we could.”

What do you love about Embold?

“As a long time employee (20+ years), I have a lot to love about Embold! This is a place where people care about each other and we truly work toward improving the lives of others. I have met so many wonderful people over the years who have taught me so many things.”

“I enjoy working with local businesses and building the trust with them that I am a partner assisting in their success.”

“Credit Unions are much quicker in responding to business needs, especially lending needs. Decisions are made local and with a team who gets to know the business and its goals.”

“I like working with small businesses because it allows us to make a real difference for someone. Our loans enable business owners’ dreams to become a reality.”

“After working for both a bank and a credit union, the difference is night and day. A bank’s top priority is its stock price, but the top priority of a local credit unions is the community and its members.”

What do you love about Embold?

“I love Embold’s culture. The credit union truly does improve the lives of everyday people, like you and me.”

What is your favorite part of working with local, small businesses?

“The best part about my job is getting to take the time to build relationships and get to know our business members. Learning about their business, how they started it, the ups and downs they’ve faced—there are so many amazing stories out there. Being able to be a small part of their story by helping finance equipment or a new building and then watching the business grow year after year is such a great feeling.”

“Having worked for banks previously, I can honestly say that the credit union truly believes in putting their members best interests first. This is done through local decision making, customized lending solutions, competitive products and services, and most importantly by hiring people that share the same vision.”

What do you love about Embold?

“You hear businesses say the word “community” a lot, but not all really mean it. Here at Embold, we not only mean it—we live it.  You can see the results with the amount of volunteer activities we do, community events we support, financial literacy classes we teach, and so much more. It’s amazing to be a part of an organization that really cares about and supports the communities we serve.”

What is your favorite part of working with local, small businesses?

“I like being able to get to know my members and build a connection with them. It’s fun to learn about the different businesses—who are they, what do they do, how did they get started, etc. Some of the time, they know they need a loan but are not sure how to get started or what type of loan they need. I enjoy figuring out what that need is and match the right product or service to their needs so they can succeed.”

“Credit unions are the BEST! Credit unions want to help their communities and their members. Since credit unions are usually smaller, we have the opportunity to get to know our members. We find out what their needs are and give them personalized services that enable them to be successful.”

What do you love about Embold?

“I love that Embold is very involved with our communities and with our members—this is the main priority for this credit union. Embold cares about their employees and treats everyone as an important part of the team. The management team is very open to listening to our concerns or suggestions, and looks for ways to improve not only our processes but to improve the team morale. This is the best team I have ever worked for.”

What is your favorite part of working with local, small businesses?

“My favorite part is getting to connect with different types of people and learning about their passions. For example, talking to people about where their business started, where their inspiration came from, what they want for the future, and just making it a really personal experience. I’m passionate about seeing how we can help others and support their dreams, and overall improving the community.”

“As a credit union, we can offer more personalized products and services that best fit the needs of our members. We also take the time to make the connection and build a relationship that will last. It allows us to better serve their business and have clear, honest, communication and respect for one another so we can be there for them.”

What do you love about Embold?

“I love that we are so community driven and I can really see how we make a difference in the lives of others. We really do our best to be involved and help out wherever we can. There is clear communication and expectations of one another to be a team and we really do look out for one another and for those that we serve.”
