Executive Leadership

Aaron Goff
Aaron is a 25+ year veteran of the financial services industry, with prior leadership experience from credit unions in California, Oregon, and Missouri. He joined Embold in early 2018. Aaron holds an MBA from Park University and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri. He is passionate about the credit union movement and serving his community. Aaron serves as the Board Chair for nonprofit Exceed Enterprises, and volunteers for Clackamas Service Center, Special Olympics, and a number of other local area charitable organizations.

Rani Khouri
Rani has worked in banking, credit unions and financial services since 2004, coming to Embold in 2013 from the National Credit Union Administration, where he served as a Principal Examiner. Rani holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Portland State University. Rani oversees the Accounting, Risk, Finance, Facilities, and Investment Services.

Kimo Rosa
Kimo joined Embold in 2006 and has served in his present position since 2019. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Portland State University, and is a graduate of the Credit Union National Association Management School. Kimo oversees Business Services, Consumer Lending, Real Estate, and Collections.

Douglas Haines
Douglas has served as a technology leader in the credit union industry for more than 15 years, most recently serving as the SVP Information Systems at U.S. Senate Federal Credit Union. Douglas earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems Management from the American College of Computer and Information Sciences, along with various technical certifications. He joined Embold Credit Union in early 2022 and oversees our Information Systems, Information Security, and Project Management. Douglas has also served as a volunteer for Big Brother, Big Sister, as well as Special Olympics Oregon.

Heather Friend
Heather has worked in the financial industry for over 20 years, and joined the Embold leadership team in 2022. Heather has an MBA from Eastern Oregon University along with certificates in Project Management, Human Resource Management, and Leadership Development. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Prevent Child Abuse Oregon and previously served on the Board for United Way of the Columbia-Willamette Valley. Heather oversees all Branch locations, Virtual Banking, Digital Services, Operations, the Call Center, Marketing and Community Development.

Theresa Hansen
Theresa joined Embold in 2022 after working in a variety of HR, operations and board governance leadership roles for nonprofit community-based organizations in Oregon, many of them with a member services focus including the Oregon Medical Association and the Oregon Education Association. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Arthritis National Research Foundation, an organization funding early career scientists in the area of arthritis and other related auto immune disease research. Theresa has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Warner Pacific University and holds a Senior Certified Professional designation from the Society of Human Resource Management. Theresa oversees Human Resources and Training and Development.
Board of Directors

Geoff Horton
Geoff is a Senior Audit Manager for Aldrich CPAs and Advisors, LLP. Prior to Aldrich, he worked for a tech company in their corporate finance department. Geoff serves a variety of local businesses specializing in the construction and manufacturing industries. Geoff and his family live in Sherwood, and he and his wife enjoy volunteering at their children’s school and coaching their teams.

Michael Fraser
Michael had a 45-year career in non-profit and public district health care administration, including serving as CEO at multiple hospitals and as a consultant. He enjoys serving community benefit organizations, including the Rotary Club of Lake Oswego. Michael has previously served as a board member of both the Oregon Association of Hospitals and the Washington State Hospital Association, as well as having served on the board for Willamette View and is a past Board Chair.

Keith Galitz
Retired President and CEO of Canby Telecom & Mount Angel Telephone (now known as DirectLink), Keith has 36 years of experience in telecommunications, entertainment, and broadband industry. He is the past President of the Rotary Club of Canby, served on the Board of Trustees of George Fox University and the University Board Executive Committee. Keith currently serves as Treasurer on the Board of Directors of the Canby Adult Center.

Stacey Hubbard
Stacey currently works in the real estate industry and has 20 years of financial institution experience, including over five years at Embold Credit Union. She has many years of volunteer experience including serving as the Treasurer for Canby Rotary. She enjoys helping others achieve their goals and is a proud Oregon City resident.

Dana Lord
The former Public Health Director of Clackamas County and a 34-year county employee, Dana focused her career on the health and safety of county residents. She volunteers for AARP Tax Aide for seniors and low-income residents of metro area and enjoys traveling and the outdoors. She has served as Board Chair and has been on the Embold Board of Directors since 2004. Dana and her husband live in rural Clackamas County near Estacada.

Gordon Huiras
Retired Oregon City Chief of Police Gordon Huiras began volunteering with the Credit Union in 2001 on the Supervisory Committee and served as Board Chair for three years. He is a Life Member of the Oregon Association of Chiefs of Police with a 31-year career. He and his wife have a home in Canby.

Guadalupe Martinez
Guadalupe began her service for Embold as an Associate Director mid 2020. Guadalupe is a counselor and instructor at Clackamas Community College. Guadalupe holds a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Oregon State University. She was recently invited to serve on the Governor’s Education Recovery Committee, has served on the Oregon State Board of Education for 2 years, and served on the Board of Directors for the Clackamas County OSU Extension Service and the Board of Directors for the OSU Alumni Association. Guadalupe has a son who currently attends Howard University. She enjoys national and international travel, CrossFit and the Oregon outdoors.

Lesley Brown Albright
Lesley Brown Albright is a Director of Business Development for Nonstop Administration and Insurance Services Inc. She is passionate about relationship building and empowering others through communication, laughter, and radical empathy. Lesley nurtures Nonstops’ current association partnerships, while seeking out others to drive mission based business growth. She has served on a Nonprofit Leadership Board and currently devotes time to local nonprofit fundraising events benefiting at-risk populations and advocating for equitable healthcare access for everyone.
Supervisory Committee

Cynthia Smith-English
Cynthia is the Founding Managing Executive Director of the Clackamas Repertory Theatre, established in 2005. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Lewis and Clark College and a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies from Reed College. Cynthia has served on our Supervisory Committee since 2014 and has been the Committee Chair since 2019.

Debra Mason
Debra is the Executive Director of the Clackamas Community College Foundation. Her previous work includes working as the Executive Director, Director of Operations, and Director of Nutrition at Clackamas Service Center. During her tenure at Clackamas Service Center, Mason increased revenue by more than 300% in six years as well as developed and executed a campaign to open a second location. Debra previously served on the Embold Board from 2017 to 2020 and has served on the Supervisory Committee for several years.

Charles Fick III
Charles was the President of General Distributors. He’s active in Helping Hands, a charitable organization that gives back to the local communities they serve. Charles served on the Embold Credit Union Board from 2015-2017. Charles studied business and oceanography and enjoys competitive bowling, golf, skiing, scuba diving, and other outdoor activities.

David Wimmer
David is a retired Finance Director for the City of Oregon City. He is a Certified Public Accountant and served on Embold’s board from 2006 to 2015. He was the Chief Accountant for Washington County for 10 years and his last 19 years were with the city of Oregon City before retiring in 2012. He is a past president of the Rotary Club of Oregon City and the Oregon City Chamber of Commerce. He is still active in Rotary and is the Treasurer of the Oregon City Rotary Club Foundation and the Oregon City Library Foundation.
