Boosting Our Support For Clackamas Service Center

We’ve pledged a total of $50,000 to life-saving organization Clackamas Service Center over the next three years. This support is crucial for those in need in Clackamas County and surrounding areas. Clackamas Service Center provides meals, grocery boxes, medical services, mail services, showers, laundry, and more to over 3,000 households a month. Recently, Clackamas Service Center has acquired a warehouse space, which will allow their food programs to grow and support an increasing number of community members. Part of our pledge is to assist with this expansion.

“Clackamas Federal Credit Union has been an incredible partner to the Clackamas Service Center for years, and we are thrilled to have their support again at this crucial time,” said Debra Mason, Executive Director at Clackamas Service Center, “Sadly, the pandemic has made our work all the more necessary, but with pledges like Clackamas Federal Credit Union’s, CSC will be able to reduce food insecurity and hunger for people in over 6,000 households in 2022.”

Clackamas Service Center offers life-saving services through a trauma informed lens. Thousands of people turn to Clackamas Service Center to access services including medical care, hot meals in a restaurant-style setting, warm showers, clothing, groceries in a shopping-style market, and other support.

“Supporting the well-being of our neighbors is at the core of who we are as a credit union,” said Clackamas CEO Aaron Goff, “Clackamas Service Center shares that mission and we are proud to support their efforts to improve lives in our community.”
