Why Embold?
Here's what banking boldly is all about.
For over 60 years, we’ve been helping our neighbors achieve their next financial milestones. As a not-for-profit, member-owned institution, we always put your needs first.
A Structure That Centers Members, Not Shareholders
Our Board of Directors are all volunteers, and they are all member-owners &mdash just like you. That means the decisions they make about our services and the future they are helping to shape for Embold impact them just as much as they impact you.

Value That Actually Benefits You
We drive the profits that we make directly back into the products and services we offer you. This means more affordable loan rates and fewer fees &mdash including one of the industry’s lowest overdraft fees on checking accounts. But we don’t stop there. We also reinvest profits into providing a better digital experience and top-notch member service.

Impact You Can Really See
We encourage our staff to use paid volunteer time to get involved with causes that they care about. Our Community Development and Leadership teams work with local organizations to see how we can best partner and support their operations and future goals.
We set lofty goals each year around volunteerism, financial education, and community investment. Every member who joins Embold helps us get a little closer to creating the future our community needs. You can learn more about the work we do throughout our corner of Oregon on our Community Impact page.
